CHORYO SHUZO
DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 1963, Choryo Shuzo originally only brewed Japanese sake. In March 2022. they branched out and turned their expertise to producing craft beers. Along with a few popular staples, they regularly innovate with flavoured beers and seasonal ingredients.
BREW PARK:
Choryo Shuzo has an amazing brew park at their brewery which overlooks the Takada river. Opened weekends and special occasions, the large open space is big enough for 2000 people. Here they serve a BBQ style menu with craft beer on tap. All-you can drink options are also available. During sakura season, the brew park is packed with revellers, performers and food trucks.

Golden Rabbit - building upon the history of Nara being the birthplace of sake- specialise in craft beer made with local ingredients. Their trendy little tap room is directly above their brewery and is open on
weekends serving a wide selection of their beers and a variety of food to nostaligic music via their awesome collection of vinyl.

The folks at Golden Rabbit believe that great music and great craft beer are a perfect match. Their food menu perfectly compliments this match. Seasonal pizzas, sausages, noodels fries etc. the tap room is family friendly and a selection of sift drinks are also available.

DESCRIPTION:
Naramachi Brewery is located deep in Naramachi in a quiet residential street and is an extremely stylish hidden oasis from the hustle & bustle of the touristy areas. That said, a large portion of the brewery's clientele is foreign - beer aficionados who have sort out Naramachi Brewery to sample their renowned beers.
MENU DETAILS:
Typically 7 or 8 varieties on tap with their standard brews such as stout, weizen, pale ale naramachi ale and a selection of special brews and seasonal creations. The food menu includes a few pizzas, some fried food and tapas-style light snacks.

YAMATO CRAFT BEER TABLE
Craft Beer x Meat x Pizza = human connection
DESCRIPTION:
Yamato Craft Beer Table is affiliated with Kintetsu Railway and has several locations in the city. They are prolific in their creation of original beers and offer up to 6 craft beers on tap at any given time. As they are located right at the entrance of Nara Kintetsu Station, you are always guaranteed to meet with a lively atmosphere, a good mix of locals and tourists and of course, an amazing selection of craft beers and a food menu to match.

MENU DETAILS:
Their food menu ranges from light finger food, to izakaya favourites to quality meats. A good place to start is with their "nomi-kurabi" beer tasting set which includes a selection of their founding beers: Pale Ale, IPA, Saison and Stout. Their spare ribes slow-cooked in beer are worth the trip alone.
